Sloppy Chicken Pizza Joes

From 5-Ingredient Slow Cooking

3 lb uncooked ground chicken or turkey

2 14-oz jars pizza sauce

2 c frozen pepper stir-fry vegetables, thawed and chopped

8 hoagie buns, split and toasted

8 slices mozzarella and provolone cheese

1. Lightly coat a large skillet with cooking spray; heat over medium-high heat. Add ground chicken; cook until brown. Set aside.

2. In a 3.5 or 4 quart slow cooker, stir together the pizza sauce and chopped vegetables. Stir in cooked chicken.

3. Cover and cook on low heat for 6-8 hours or high heat from 3-4 hours.

4. Spoon meat mixture onto bottom half of buns. Top with cheese and top halves of buns.
